Broadcast Monitors At IBC

 

At IBC2017, TVLogic will show four new broadcast monitors including its 5.5-inch OLED Viewfinder Monitor(VFM-055A) featuring FHD resolution and 31-inch 4K (4096x2160) HDR Reference Monitor(LUM-310R), featuring 2,000 nit peak luminance and supporting multiple HDR formats. TVLogic will also show the 55-inch UHD (3840x2160) OLED Monitor(LEM-550R) with multiple HDR format support and the 16.5-inch QC Grade Monitor(LVM-171S).

 

OLED viewfinder monitor- VFM-055A



The VFM-055A is a 5.5-inch OLED (organic LED) on-camera viewfinder monitor specially designed for  use on smaller, DSLR-sized rigs. Utilizing OLED panel with high resolution of native 1920x1080, high contrast ratio of 17,000:1, very wide viewing angle, and luminance of 350??/span>/??/span>, the VFM-055A offers truly cinematic image quality with deep blacks and wide-gamut color reproduction. The VFM-055A supports multiple video formats via 3G-SDI and HDMI 1.4 inputs. Useful functions include cinema camera log-to-linear LUT conversion, HDMI-SDI cross-converted output, waveform and vector scope, markers, focus assist, audio level meters and more. The VFM-055A has a built-in battery bracket(Sony) and also offers various battery brackets, so users can bring their own battery solution. On the top of the monitor, 3 function keys and scroll wheel button are placed for easy control and on the bottom side, there is a USB port for fast firmware update and color calibration.



True 4K HDR Reference monitor- LUM-310R



The LUM-310R is a 4K HDR Reference Master production monitor with a 31-inch wide Super-IPS 4K LCD (4096 ??2160) and a local-dimming backlight array designed to reproduce reference HDR content at a maximum luminance of 2,000 nits with a simultaneous deep black minimum of 0.002 nits. This makes possible a simultaneous contrast ratio nearing 1 million to 1. The LUM-310R comes with 3D LUT(Look-Up-Table) fo precise color reproduction. The LUM-310R supports various HDR standards such as SMPTE ST2084, ST2086 and ST2094[pending], Hybrid-Log Gamma (HLG), and others. It also supports multiple color gamuts including Rec.709, DCI-P3, and Rec.2020. Signal I/O includes 3G/6G/12G-SDI  via one, two, or four SDI connections as well as HDMI (ver.2.0).

 


55-inch OLED HDR monitor- LEM-550R



The LEM-550R is a 55-inch QC-Grade HDR monitor for broadcast and post production with UHD resolution of 3840 ??2160. The OLED panel can reproduce a maximum luminance of up to 1,000 nits featuring 10-bit color processing. The LEM-550R supports various HDR standards such as SMPTE ST2084, ST2086 and ST2094[pending], Hybrid-Log Gamma (HLG), and others. It also supports multiple color gamuts including Rec.709, DCI-P3, and Rec.2020. The LEM-550R supports various input signals through 12G/ 6G/ 3G-SDI and HDMI (ver.2.0) input terminals. And 12G/ 6G/ 3G-SDI channel 1/2 selected output (loop through) is supported.

 


16.5-inch QC-Grade monitor- LVM-171S


The LVM-171S is a new QC-Grade 16.5-inch model with an IPS LCD panel with 1920x1080 native resolution, wide-gamut reproduction (up to DCI-P3), enhanced contrast ratio and wide viewing angle all unmatched by other LCD monitors. A completely redesigned video processing unit provides powerful dual-channel performance and artifact-free image reproduction. Support for various cinema camera log-to-linear LUTs and easy field upgradability are standard. The LVM-171S can accommodate multi-format 3G/Dual Link HD-SGI, SD-SDI, HDMI and Analogue signal inputs. All the professional features including PBP(Picture by Picture), 3rd Party 3D LUT import & export by USB, high resolution of waveform & vectorscope, closed caption(OP42/47, CC-608/708, CC-KOR), LKFS (Loudness check), audio level meters and more.
