LUM-313G-CI : 31’’ 4K Native HDR Monitor
Wide Color Gamut & Wide Viewing Angle IPS LCD technology
The LUM-313G-CI utilizes a 31” native 4K resolution LCD panel with dual layer technology, which allows for a max luminance of 350 nits and a high contrast ratio of 1500:1. The color gamut of the display is wide enough to cover 100% of the BT.709, 99% of DCI-P3, and 86% of the BT.2020 standard. In addition, a superior wide viewing angle can be enjoyed due to its proprietary S-IPS technology.
The Upgrade for the Best
Starting with LUM-310X-CI, all TVLogic LUM-series monitors are upgraded with a new color engine (LogiColor) and calibrated with a new calibration software (logiCAL). And even the measurement probes are upgrade with a new probe calibration software (ProbeCAL). All these new tools enable
The new color processor - 'LogiColor' Engine
A whole new color management is introduced in LUM-310X-CI for best color reproduction and control. 'LogiColor' engine based on Xilinx FPGA, converts all the (10bit non-linear YCC) input video signal into 24bit linear RGB color space (72bit per pixel) and process all the necessary calculation very fast. A most accurate color reproduction can be achieved especially in the mid-tone colors and highlight details and dark shades.
Also 'LogiColor' engine can navigate the preset modes 5 times faster than before, and provides more accurate control over parameters such as luminance, color temperatures, EOTFs (gamma) and color gamuts.
* Color Standard Preset (HD, UHD, DCI, PQ, PQ2, HLG + User Mode: 1~6)
* Video Range (Narrow 100%, Narrow 109%, Full)
* Display Luminance (+ Clipping Level)
* SDR & HDR EOTF (Gamma 2.4, 2.6, 2.8 + BT. 2100 PQ & HLG)
* PQ EETF (Roll-on & Roll-off)
* HLG System Gamma (Auto, 1.2 Fixed)
* Color Gamut (BT.709, DCI-P3, BT.2020, Native)
* Color Temperature (D65, DCI, D93)
* Gain / Offset
* Camera Logs (Sony, Panasonic, JVC, Canon, Nikon, ARRI, Red and etc.) * - coming soon!
'LogiColor' uses a universal color space for color management that is absolutely wide enough to cover all the colors for BT.2020. And to make the best of the display panel's color gamut, in the calibration process, a 1D LUT and 3D LUT are created to compensate the non-linearity of the display panel used in the monitor. And the colors outside of the monitor's gamut is gracefully mapped onto the surface of the monitor's gamut while preserving the their original color HUEs.
Advanced 3D LUT Interpolation
A new interpolation algorithm is introduced to LUM-310X-CI. While maintaining the same 17×17×17 grid structure of the 3D LUT, a Triangular Pyramid Interpolation (=Tetrahedral Interpolation) used in IS-mini is now implemented into TVLogic LUM-series monitors starting with LUM-310X-CI. This new algorithm enhances color reproduction accuracy equal or even better than 33×33×33 grid 3D LUT with cubic interpolation.
Best-in-Class Gamut Mapping Algorithm
(BT.2020) colors outside the monitor’s gamut (color reproduction range) are gracefully mapped onto the surface of the monitor’s gamut. Now the brightness and/or saturation can be reduced while preserving the original Color HUE of the original (BT.2020) colors that is outside of the monitor's gamut. (*A 'Native Mode' is also offered to see all the colors to be proportionally scaled inside the monitor's gamut) LEARN MORE
Industry-leading Calibrator - 'logiCAL'
Now the LUM-series monitors are calibrated with a newly developed TVLogic calibration software - 'logiCAL'. This new software is provided for free to all TVLogic monitor users and now supports both PC and Mac computers. It performs SDR and HDR calibration to create and transmit all the necessary information to control color to the monitor by just one action. LogiCAL has a function to match colors with specific monitor. You can calibrate TVLogic monitors to match your mastering monitor's white point very easily. Once the calibration is completed, a professional-grade PDF report is automatically created with all detailed information on the calibration and the analysis on color reproduction. IF errors occur during the calibration process, you can easily recognize it and do it again.
Please visit 'logiCAL' page for more information.
Professional Calibration Report
After every calibration, 'logiCAL' software automatically creates a professional PDF report on SDR and HDR calibration result. User can also create an HTML version of the report in the 'logiCAL' menu once the calibration is completed. The report provides all the detailed information on color reproduction in numbers, various graphs along with deltaE (color difference) calculations for gray levels and important colors such as GretagMacbeth 24 colors and EBU test colors both for SDR and HDR. This report will also be enclosed in the product box when shipping from TVLogic factory, and the report data will be available with 'logiCAL' software and 'WonderLookPro' software in near future.
Please visit 'Calibration Report' page for more information.
Make the most out of your probes - 'ProbeCAL'
Probe’s color measurement result is much more accurate now thanks to Multi-Color Matching method (90 color samples) instead of the traditional 4-color matrix method provided by the probe manufacturers. We have introduced a new calibration algorithm and successfully achieved high accuracy in mixed colors and dark shadow measurements. This method can also contribute to dealers and customers to enhance the measurement capability of their existing probes. Please contact your local distributor or TVLogic Qualified Service Center (TQSC) if you'd like to try this new method. And also visit 'ProbeCAL' page for more information.
Perceptual Matching to D65 reference light source
Even if we calibrated the monitor to match the measurement results with true D65 light, it often the case that the color of the monitor white looks little different from true D65 light. It was caused by the imperfection of CIE 1931 XYZ function and native error of the probes.
In order to eliminate this difference, we have introduced a perceptual matching process in our factory calibration of every monitor under 'LogiColor' color management system. To reproduce visually matched D65 white color with our reference light source (True D65), we create the parameters by the measurement of visually matched monitors' white, and perform factory calibration by using this parameter. This new approach reduces not only the difference between unit to unit, but also the visual difference between reference white (D65) color.

Zero Video Latency for 4K - 'DRC' technology
LUM-310X-CI is also upgraded for faster video processing. An innovative DRC (Dynamic RAM Control) technology was adapted to minimize the internal video delay according to the input video format. Now the internal video processing time is for 2 ~ 4 times faster for 4K/24p~30p and HD input, and almost ZERO latency (0.2-frame delay) for 4K/60p and 4K/50p video that is input through single link 12G-SDI. (This upgrade is available with firmware update. Please contact your local dealer or download from TVLogic website)
